Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a great way to increase your security while using the ThinkData Catalog Platform.
To turn on MFA, select the primary dropdown in the top left hand corner of the sidebar (you will see your user name). Selecting this will open your organization selection screen and your user profile.
Select "account settings"
From there, you will be taken to a settings screen that includes information about your account, your API token, and MFA. Select the "Two factor authentication" button.
If MFA is disabled, you will see a QR code. Scan this code using a mobile device (you may want to use an application like Google Authenticator to do this). Follow the steps in the app you're using, then enter the verification code in the space provided.
Select "Enable" to complete the process.
Enabling MFA means that you will need to provide your username, password, and a code every time you log into the platform, so make sure you have your mobile device handy when signing in. If you want to disable MFA, simply go back to the Two-factor authentication screen, enter your password, and select "Disable ".
